fall foliage!

one of my good friends just recently bought a house and was having a hard time coming up with some serious ideas. she wanted to have a lodge-at-the-beach kind of feel. here are some images I scrounged up... a good bit of them are from Real Simple.

I love the modern take on the vases in this image...


In LOVE with the idea of using a branch as a place to hang your towels. Also, check out the graphic, modern take on the wallpaper.


Great color palette- this wallpaper is from the lovely Schumacher.


My favorite wall... almost ever. They just cut branches into slices and attached onto a wall- some are longer in order to allow for hanging standard entryway drop-offs.


What a great orange- great contrast with the dark wood on the stair treads and railing.
