No, that was not meant as an insult. For some odd reason, I just got to thinking about the ho hos. And the cupcakes with their perfect swirly consistent icing. So I looked them up... And look at these delicious recipes I found!!!! I can.NOT. wait to make some of these heart-attack treats.

Paper Orchid

Last semester, I designed a fabulous cupcake shop for my equally fabulous friend, Megan. In this endeavor, I had to find some examples of cupcake displays and ran across this fantastic company- looks like they do a TON with laser etching, perhaps? I don't really know how else they can make their cuttings look so delicate and perfect... And it is all mostly basically wonderfully beautiful. We've been feeling a bit gloomy over the past couple of days. I guess we need spring break now. Except if spring break came, we'd be even closer to unemployment than now. (See what I mean about gloomy?) So here are some photos of not-so-gloomy things. I hope. Winter's almost over, school's almost out, and there's always... shoot. I was going to say that I could always work for Starbucks, but apparently, they're laying people off as well.

Find some images that just make you happy. Like raptors. Stripey pillows. A beautiful couch. A corbu metastasis image. Whatever. And be thankful for what you do have.
